D3 Rocha Awarded CDA Foundation Scholarship

March 8, 2011

RochaD3 Charlene Rocha has been awarded the California Dental Association (CDA) Foundation 2011 Dental Student Scholarship for demonstrating volunteerism, and strength as an individual and as a dental student.

From the CDA Foundation announcement: "Dentistry is a field where volunteer service is highly valued. The CDA Foundation looks favorably toward volunteerism as these efforts add value and strength to individuals and dental students. Applicants for the Dental Student Scholarship are required to demonstrate volunteer service (community service and/or leadership) to be considered for the program; however, they are highly encouraged to engage in volunteer endeavors beyond that which is required by the student’s dental school curriculum."
