UCSF Dentistry's Marshall and Das Messenger Receive ACD Honors

Marshall, PhD, DDS, MPH, Distinguished Professor Emeritus in the Oral and Craniofacial Sciences Graduate program, and D4 Neha Das Messenger, were both honored at an American College of Dentists, Northern California Section dinner at Spenger's in Berkeley, CA, on May 11, 2013.

Dr. Marshall was presented with the Outstanding Faculty Award, and Neha Das Messenger was presented with the Outstanding Student Award.

 The American College of Dentists, the oldest major honorary organization for dentists, was founded in 1920 to "elevate the standards of dentistry, to encourage graduate study, and to grant Fellowship to those who have done meritorious work."

Dr. Henrik Hansen (D'78) was installed as the Chairman of American College of Dentists, Northern California Section, earlier this year.
