HDA Scholarship for Ortho Resident Patiño

Jesus Isaac Patiño Jr., DDSUCSF Dentistry Orthodontics resident Jesus Isaac Patiño Jr., DDS (D'12) has been awarded the Hispanic Dental Association (HDA) 2013 Colgate-Palmolive Scholarship Award.

The intent of the HDA Scholarship Program is to support promising students in their academic training.  Scholarships under this program will help the student complete their training for a Masters Degree or above in a Dentistry Related Program.  The scholarships are open to student members of the Hispanic Dental Association who have been accepted into or are currently enrolled in an accredited Masters or above program in a Dentistry Related Field.

Says Dr. Patiño, in an e-mail to UCSF Orthodontics faculty Drs James Chen, Gerald Nelson and Maria Orellana: "I really appreciate the support and education the three of you have provided for me. I will never forget it, and I look forward to increasing my knowledge of orthodontics under each of your leadership!"
