Students United for America's Toothfairy Given 2013 University Community Partnerships Student/Learner and Community Partnership Award

The 2013 University Community Partnerships Student/Learner and Community Partnership Award was given to UCSF Dentistry's Students United for America's Toothfairy at UCP's Fifth Annual Partnerships Celebration at UCSF's Mission Bay Campus on Friday, October 17th.

UCSF's Excellence in Partnership Award recognizes exemplary partnerships between San Francisco communities and UCSF that build on each other’s strength to improve higher education, civic engagement, and the overall health of communities.

Accepting the award were dental students Michael Hong and Sarah Forbes of the UCSF Dentistry Student Pediatric Dentistry Society; Gabrielle Jones of the Bay Area Oral Health Zone; and Health Sciences Clinical Professor Dr. Brent Lin of UCSF Dentistry's Department of Orofacial Sciences, Division of Pediatric Dentistry.
