Dr. Daniel Ramos Named Director of UCSF Dentistry's Oral Medicine Clinical Center
Daniel Ramos, DDS, PhD, has been named Director of UCSF Dentistry's Oral Medicine Clinical Center, effective June 1, 2014.
He has served as co-director of the center since 2012 and succeeds Dr. Caroline Shiboski, who has been the director for the past 13 years.
Dr. Ramos will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Oral Medicine Clinical Center, which includes coordinating the rotation schedules for students and residents (Oral Medicine, General Practice Residency, and Pediatric Dentistry).
Dr. Ramos is a professor in the Department of Orofacial Sciences. He received his DDS from UCSF School of Dentistry (1988) and his PhD from the UCSF Graduate Division (1994). He is also a Diplomate of American Board of Oral Medicine (1991).
