As you know, the School's Accreditation site visit from the Commission on Dental Accreditation is nearly upon us. To help faculty, staff and students in final preparations for this event, we've created this "Did You Know?" series with some interesting facts and tidbits about the School of Dentistry. We will email it weekly until the week of the Accreditation visit from April 12-14, 2005.

• Pre-doctoral students have a variety of research-related activities and opportunities at the School of Dentistry, including summer fellowships, ADEA/Gies Scholarships, the John Greene Society, activities such as Research Day and the development of the DDS/PHD combined degree program.
  
  
• The UCSF Quality Assurance program includes chart review, evaluation of patient satisfaction, student analysis of student dental practices, and compliance with health and safety policies for faculty, staff and students.
