Dental Admissions Test (DAT)

The Council on Dental Education of the American Dental Association (ADA), in cooperation with the American Dental Education Association (ADEA), has developed a nationwide dental aptitude testing program.

All applicants are required to take the US DAT as part of the application process.  The Canadian DAT is no longer accepted.

We recommend that applicants take the test no later than Sept 15. Applications lacking official scores by the Oct. 15th deadline will not be reviewed. Test scores more than two years old will not be accepted.

In general, we are looking for students who have scored 17 or higher on Academic Average and Total Science sections. Our average DAT score for the entering class around 21.4 in both Academic Average and Total Science.
