DEGREE REQUIREMENTS

Doctor of Dental Surgery

Candidates for this degree must satisfactorily complete in the School of Dentistry all required courses as prescribed by the faculty and maintain a minimum of a C average grade, with no failing grades, and be recommended by the Student Status Committee to the Faculty Council for the degree. Candidates for the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery must be enrolled in the School of Dentistry during the last academic year preceding the awarding of the degree.

The completion of the total unit requirement with passing grades does not necessarily assure candidates a recommendation for the degree. Satifactory completion for the degree includes: (1) meeting all financial indebtedness to the University; (2) completing all work in the school's quarters; and (3) exhibiting physical, moral, and mental qualities necessary for a career in dentistry.
