Enhancing the Esthetic and Longevity of Ceramic Bonded Restorations in Light of Current Scientific Information and Clinical Observation Lecture

Lecture: Friday, November 13, 2009

What You Will Learn

After two and half decades of extensive scientific studies, and long term clinical observations, the empirical understanding of bonded ceramic restorations and porcelain veneers is now supported by well researched scientific findings. New technologies and products have been developed based on this evidence and we are able to provide patients with more esthetically pleasing and functionally lasting restorations. Revisiting the basic principles of etched porcelain bonded restorations in light of contemporary scientific information, development of new products, and recent technological advances permits dentists to achieve clinical results that were unthinkable a decade ago.

This course is designed to provide participants with up-to-date comprehensive information on ceramic bonded restorations. Emphasis will be placed on achieving better esthetics and function, and also on reducing undesirable outcomes.

Topics To Be Discussed

  • Using etched ceramic restorations in light of current scientific and clinical information
