A Departmental Affiliated Technology Center

The UCSF Mouse Microarray Consortium (MMC) has been created as a resource to facilitate the use of microarray technology for members of the UCSF scientific community working on mammalian research models. The MMC produces and sells glass microarrays carrying large sets of mouse cDNAs or long-oligonucleotides. In addition, the MMC provides the equipment, information, and training necessary to use its microarrays.

Services:

  • High density glass mouse cDNA and long-oligonucleotide microarrays
  • Access to an Axon Genepix Scanner, a PC workstation with data acquisition software and a few more pieces of related equipment
  • Access to a repository and analysis database customized for the MMC arrays (Nomad)
  • Project planning and consultation
  • Support for technical set-up and troubleshooting
  • Support on data acquisition and data storage and query on Nomad
