I am pleased to announce the appointment of Susan B. Schultz as Interim Associate Dean for Finance and Administration of the
UCSF School of Dentistry, effective October 13, 2008.

She has served as Department Manager for the Department of Preventive and Restorative Dental Sciences for the last 13 years, coming to UCSF from a management position at UCLA.

She earned her BA in Communications at UC Santa Barbara and completed an MBA, with emphasis on strategic leadership, from Dominican University, San Rafael, in 2007.

Susan has also served on numerous University committees, most notably being very active in ABOG (Academic Business Officers’ Group), including chairing the system-wide committee, and is a past recipient of the Chancellor’s Award for Exceptional University Management.

Please join me in welcoming her to her new role as an essential part of the School's administrative team.
