Second Year in a Row: D4 Andre Guerrero
Wins 1st Place ADSA Research Award

D4 Andre Guerrero was again awarded First Place in the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology National Meeting, held this year in Chicago, for his paper titled "Fatty Acid Amide Hydrolase Inhibitors and Their Therapeutic Potential in Dentistry." The award included an all expenses paid trip to the conference and $1,000.

"I am humbled once again by winning this award. I would like to thank Dr. Brian Schmidt and his lab for their encouragement and support. I would like to thank Dr. Newton Gordon for his kind words when presenting me the award. I would also like to the thank the American Dental Society for this award. The ADSA meeting in Chicago was very informative and rewarding. I encourage everyone doing pain, anesthesia, or anxiety research to apply for the competition this year."
