Description of Services:

Endodontic specialty clinic providing the following services: nonsurgical root canals, nonsurgical root canal retreatments, and apicoectomies. A comprehensive exam will be performed at the beginning of every appointment to diagnose orofacial pain and/or pulpal infection to determine whether the tooth is a good candidate for endodontic treatment. If indicated, we will utilize an in-house state-of-the-art-technology Kodak 9000 3-D System Cone Beam CT to aid in our diagnosis.

Insurance plans accepted:

The clinic accepts a wide variety of insurance plans and is a PPO provider for Delta Dental. We will assist with completing and submitting forms electronically and/or by paper.

Special instructions for new patients (OUTSIDE AND IN-HOUSE REFERRALS):

Your first visit is a screening appointment only. You will not receive any treatment on this visit unless you need a referral to an emergency clinic.

Special instructions for referring providers:

Please send: UCSF Faculty Referral Form, current x-ray, copy of insurance card and picture ID, and patient contact numbers. Emergency Dental Services: Please call 415-476-5814 for dental emergencies.

Emergencies are defined as minor dental and/or oral problems which may cause slight to severe pain, swelling, or negative esthetic condition which require immediate attention.
