Description of Services:

Endodontic specialty clinic providing the following services: nonsurgical root canals, nonsurgical root canal retreatments, and apicoectomies. A comprehensive exam will be performed at the beginning of every appointment to diagnose orofacial pain and/or pulpal infection to determine whether the tooth is a good candidate for endodontic treatment. In our postgraduate resident clinic, treatment is performed by our resident/professor team at reduced fees.

Insurance plans accepted:

The clinic accepts a wide variety of insurance plans and is a PPO provider for Delta Dental. We will assist with completing and submitting forms electronically and/or by paper.

Special instructions for new patients (OUTSIDE AND IN-HOUSE REFERRALS):

Your first visit is a screening appointment only. You will not receive any treatment on this visit unless you need a referral to an emergency clinic.

Please send: UCSF Postgraduate residency Referral Form, current x-ray, copy of insurance card and picture ID, and patient contact numbers

Emergencies are defined as dental problems which cause severe pain, swelling, or infection.
