Description of Services:
Inpatient and outpatient services include:
Outpatient sedation and general anesthesia for surgical procedures
Dentoalveolar surgery: infections from teeth, extraction of erupted teeth, removal of unerupted and impacted wisdom and other teeth, surgery to prepare jaw ridges for dentures
Dental implants
Surgical correction of maxillofacial skeletal and soft tissue deformities
Surgical correction of maxillary alveolar cleft and other cleft deformities
Trauma surgery: jaw and facial bone fractures
Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Surgery: internal derangement, degenerative joint disease, rheumatoid arthritis, recurrent or persistent mandibular, dislocation, ankylosis, hyperplasia or hypoplasia
Diagnosis and management of pathological conditions of the maxilla region and associated soft tissues
Assessment and repair of trigeminal and facial nerve injuries
Cosmetic maxillofacial surgery: chin deformities, contour defects, adiposity (fat) and other corrections

Dental: Denti-Cal, Delta Dental

If you belong to an HMO or PPO or other insurance that requires preauthorization before seeing a specialist, please obtain the authorization before appearing for your visit, even if your dentist is referring you. If you have recent x-rays, please bring them with you.
