This
is a very exciting time for the emerging UCSF Pediatric Dentistry
Alumni Group. In the past year, an official group was established and
the first board of directors has been appointed. The new board has
monthly meetings and the beginning stages of a new alumni organization
are underway. Currently, the Board is establishing a vision, mission,
goals and organizing events at both the upcoming California Society of
Pediatric Dentistry and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry
annual meetings. Stay tuned for the Alumni group
updates.
Your experience at UCSF whether it was as faculty, staff or
residents, helped make UCSF Division of Pediatric Dentistry what it is
today, a group of people dedicated to providing comprehensive dental
care to children and ensuring access of dental care for them. Our
program, in continuing to provide excellent didactic education,
research and clinical experiences in pediatric dentistry, continue to
carry on that mission. Each of you has played a
part
in making that mission a successful one. But the mission
still
continues, the challenges remain, and a wide range of opportunities
exist for you to give back to the school, new residents, patients, and
the community at large.
This website
will provide more information on current events and training, and how
your support can help us maintain and expand excellence in education,
clinical care, and research.
