Dr. Deborah Greenspan, the Chair of UCSF Dentistry's Department of Orofacial Sciences, is delighted to announce that Dr. Maria Orellana will become the clinic director of the Orthodontic Clinic.
The UCSF Dentistry Orthodontic Clinic offers a full range of orthodontic services for both children and adults.
Dr. Orellana is an Associate Clinical Professor and the Director of the undergraduate Orthodontic Program. She obtained her DDS from the University of Cordoba, Argentina, and a PhD in Oral Biology and Maxillofacial Pathology from the Medical College of Georgia. She completed a MSc and a residency in Orthodontics at the University of Alberta in Canada.
Says Dr. Orellana, "I look forward to contributing to the UCSF Orthodontic Clinic continued success in providing excellent patient care within a multidisciplinary approach."
