Global Oral Health

This program is led by the Associate Dean for Global Oral Health, Dr. John S. Greenspan. Its mission is the improvement of oral and craniofacial health worldwide. The goals for the Global Oral Health program include building, strengthening and coordinating our activities in global oral health, developing and supporting programs of excellence in global oral health sciences and international health within the School, and interacting with UCSF campus, system wide and other initiatives in global health. These include educational, research and community/public service programs.

The theme of this year’s event will be "Workforce Issues for Global Oral Health" and will feature presentations from Dr. Jaime Sepulveda, Executive Director, UCSF Global Health Sciences, Dr. Habib Benzian, Director, The Health Bureau Ltd, Global Health Consultants in the United Kingdom, and Dr. Tao Xu, Dean, Peking University School of Stomatology in Beijing.

This symposium is a very important step in continuing our progress towards reaching the programs’ goals. We do hope that you will be able to join us.
