Global Oral Health Awards 2013
As a tribute to those working here on Global Oral Health and to encourage excellence in this emerging field, we are happy to announce that we are now accepting nominations for the first annual Global Oral Health awards, given to one faculty member and one student from UCSF.
These awards are open to the entire UCSF community. They will be presented as part of the proceedings at our 3rd Annual Global Oral Health Symposium on Monday, May 13.
Faculty from all UCSF Schools are asked to consider the contributions of their colleagues and students so that their achievements may be recognized by the University community.
Please submit an electronic and/or paper copy of the following information by Friday, March 22:
- an updated CV for the nominee(s)
- a letter that describes the unique contributions of the nominee(s) to Global Oral Health.
The criteria for the Committee's decision will be based on: overall impact of the nominee's work in the field of Global Oral Health, any research awards received, and related university and community service.
Please send the nomination packets to roger.mraz@ucsf.edu. Please, all documents should be sent electronically.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
Best wishes,
