Welcome to Staff Health and Wellness at UCSF School of Dentistry
The goal of the UCSF School of Dentistry Staff Work Life Committee's Health and Wellness Subcommittee is to initiate activities that improve the health and wellness of our employees by providing access to resources that includes stress management, walking groups, ergonomic presentations, and other opportunities to stay healthy inside and outside of the work environment.

- living well at UCSF - The University's Living Well initiative is dedicated to stimulating and supporting comprehensive wellness programs and resources designed to promote mental, physical, social and cultural balance. Working together with UCSF's partners, living well at UCSF strives to become a leader in health promotion programs, empowering people to lead healthier, more productive lives.
- Positive Emotion Training - Having stress at work? Stress is a part of all our lives, yet we don't always have good skills for managing it. Research is showing us that cultivating postive emotion can help! This is an innovated internet-based course that you can take from your own computer or smartphone. You'll be guided through short, practical daily exercises to bring more happiness into your life, and into your work environment.
- WebMD - Questions about your health? Want to learn something new? WebMD is a great resource for award-winning expertise in medicine, journalism, health communication and content creation to bring you the best health information possible.
- Office of Environmental Health and Safety - Is your workstation set up ergonomically? Need a refresher course in office ergonomics? This is the site for you! This is an online course that introduces computer users to the UCSF ergonomics program and helps users to assess their own work stations and work practices.
