Sept. 9 marks the next session of Ask Me Anything, a monthly series that is part of the School of Dentistry's effort to increase and facilitate communication around issues of diversity, equity and inclusion. Hibret Benjamin, DDS, will answer questions around the theme of "What does it take to run a successful private dental practice and balance family life."
Dr. Benjamin is the founder and CEO of Marina Tooth Fairy Dental, Benjamin Dental Group Inc. Born and raised in Ethiopia, she migrated to San Francisco at age 13. She is a graduate of University of San Francisco and completed her DDS at UCSF. Dr. Benjamin specializes in comprehensive interdisciplinary dental care, including full mouth rehabilitation, terminal dentition involving complex implant surgeries, restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She teaches part-time as a clinical assistant professor in the School of Dentistry, and serves on the dental alumni board and the Dean’s Council. When she is not seeing patients, mentoring or teaching, Dr. Benjamin enjoys spending time with her husband Jeffrey and her son Cobe and their dog Ace.
