This course was prepared for the clinical dentist to recognize and identify and discuss the treatment considerations with soft tissue lesions, localized gingival lesions, and hard tissue anomalies for pediatric dental patients.
Educational Objectives:
- Perform an appropriate oral examination that effectively visualizes and identifies intra-oral and extra-oral soft tissue lesions and hard tissue anomalies.
- Increase ability to recognize, diagnose, identify, and manage common oral pathological entities seen in children.
Instructor: Bruce Riggs, DMD, MPH
Dr. Bruce Riggs is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry with the Dental College of Georgia (DCG) at Augusta University. He received his DMD from the University of Kentucky and completed a pediatric dentistry residency at the University of Florida/Shands Hospital. He received an MPH from Augusta University with a focus in Health Management in 2017. Dr. Riggs is Board-Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Riggs had a private practice in Pediatric Dentistry in Marietta, Georgia for 28 years prior to joining the DCG in 2014

Tuition: $69 (Due to the Joint Provider ship of this program with ACDE, UCSF Faculty and Staff discounts are not available.)
Cancellation/Refunds:
Tuition refund, less a $25 cancellation fee, will be issued only for cancellations received in writing at least 3 business days prior to the start date of the course. No refunds will be issued for late cancellations or no-shows. We reserve the right to cancel any course due to circumstances beyond our control; under those circumstances we will refund all course fee payments. Please be aware that UCSF School of Dentistry CDE is not responsible for reimbursement of nonrefundable airline tickets or any other travel expenses in the event that a course is canceled.
