The lecture will address Imaging principles of CBCT, factors influencing image quality and ways to improve image quality, factors controlling patient dose. Additionally a systematic approach to interpretation of CBCT volumes will be discussed with attention to anatomical landmarks and incidental pathological findings.

Rumpa Ganguly BDS, DMD, MS
Dr. Ganguly is an Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist. She is certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology and has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology since 2009. She is a full time faculty in the department of Orofacial Sciences of UCSF where she is leading efforts in establishing UCSF’s state-of-the art Cone Beam CT imaging and interpretation services for internal as well as external patients and dentists from the community.
