This course will assists participants to effectively diagnose and treat TMD in any dental office. The key in any treatment provided is focusing on a patient’s problem list, doing an examination and then making an accurate diagnosis. Part of the challenge in TMD is the multi-factorial nature of this problem. Participants will analyze which cases can be treated and which cases might need the help of another provider.
This presentation will discuss how we to perform a successful endodontic microsurgery. It will include soft tissue management, osteotomy, tooth replantation and surgical sequelae and complications during surgery.
The UCSF Mini-Residency in Dental Sleep Medicine is designed for dental professionals to develop in-depth knowledge and clinical procedures for treating sleep-related breathing disorders. Participants will become skilled at utilizing oral appliance therapy in the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), sleep disordered breathing, and snoring patients in their practices.
