    The American Dental Association hosts “Dentistry for the Modern Age”: Dentists participating in the workshop stream How to Provide Excellent Care will learn how to apply the latest clinical recommendations and practice scientifically informed treatment. Educators participating in the stream How to Teach Evidence-Based Dentistry will learn how to build an EBD curriculum that instills students with the curious mind-set needed to provide evidence-based care.

    Cees van der Vleuten, PhD, UCSF Presidential Scholar 2018-19, discusses designing and implementing transformative programmatic assessment that improves student learning. Part of Med Ed Grand Rounds. Dr. van der Vleuten, scientific director of the Maastricht School of Health Professions, is the first educational scholar to be awarded the UCSF Presidential Chair.
