David Perry, DDS, is a volunteer clinical professor in the Department of Orofacial Sciences, School of Dentistry. He obtained his doctorate of dental surgery and specialty training in pediatric dentistry from UCSF Dental School in 1971 and has been treating the dental needs of children since 1973. For 45 years he has promoted infant oral health and prevention of early childhood caries. His practice, located in Alameda, Calif., has expanded to three offices, offering sedation dentistry, general anesthesia dentistry and orthodontics.
