Ali Hatamifar was born in Iran and spent his childhood growing up in Bangkok, Thailand. After moving to the United States in 2012, Dr. Hatamifar earned a B.S. in Biochemistry and a master's in systems Engineering from Loyola Marymount University. He then completed his DDS at NYU, where he performed the first student-led robotically assisted dental implant surgery case in the United States. His involvement extended beyond the clinic as he also conducted impactful research at the NYU Translational Research Center, focusing on the clinical and histopathologic aspects of oral potentially malignant disorders and dynamic computer aided implant systems. His dedication and excellence were further recognized with induction into Omega Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. In his free time, Dr. Hatamifar finds joy in playing rugby, spending quality moments with loved ones, and passionately supporting the Los Angeles Lakers.
