Dr. Eric Tam was born in Hong Kong and raised in Toronto, Canada. He studied Construction Project Management in both the faculty of architecture and the faculty of engineering, upon graduation he worked years in condominium construction as a licensed Quantity Surveyor in Canada. He then again returned to university to pursue studies in Biological Sciences and then sequentially graduated with the Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry.
As a budding DDS graduate, he moved to Massachusetts for a year in a community health center affiliated with Boston University Medical Center. With the desire for continuous learning, the following year he elected to pursue further residency training here at UCSF. He is committed to understanding patient’s dental concerns and providing the best compassionate care possible to his patients. With his latest move west to the Golden State, he is looking forward to a year of exploring this foggy yet beautiful city by the San Francisco Bay.
