Erin Malone hails from Nashville, TN where he grew up and attended the Historically Black University Tennessee State University for undergraduate studies. After obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences, he started his journey to become a clinician scientist as a dual degree DDS and PhD graduate student.
Dr. Malone chose a career path in dentistry and orthodontics, with a dual focus on becoming a skilled clinician-scientist and an advocate for greater representation of minorities in the dental profession. As a future Orthodontist, Dr. Malone hopes to create avenues of opportunity and promote awareness within the community he serves to inspire those of all backgrounds to become health professionals and academicians, especially those of minority descent. He strives to work tirelessly to train to be an orthodontist, perform cutting-edge research, and develop into a craniofacial specialist who can help provide excellent patient care to a broad population including the underserved.
