Hannah was born in Center Valley, Pennsylvania and grew up in a Spanish immersion fluency program. She attended Muhlenberg College and graduated in the Spring of 2021 with Highest Honors in Biology and the Keith M. Keenly Microbiology Award.
During Hannah’s time at Muhlenberg, she was a part of Dr. Giancarlo Cuadra’s lab and researched the effects of flavored electronic cigarettes on oral host-bacteria interactions.
After graduation, Hannah worked as a research assistant at the University of Pennsylvania in Dr. Jean Bennett’s lab, which focuses on the development of gene therapies for several retinal disorders. Hannah is interested in continuing research in oral microbiology or chronic facial pain/pain disorders. Outside of research, Hannah’s hobbies include dancing, hiking, traveling, ceramics, cooking, and reading.
