Jimmy Chang was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. After coming to the United States, he was based in multiple locations for education: Los Angeles, Boston, and New York City. He is now thrilled to come to San Francisco to pursue his passion in orthodontics!
Jimmy was first drawn into Orthodontics during his preclinical course in dental school, where he observed forces of orthodontic appliances on each tooth and imagined resulting mechanical movements to bring about smile esthetics. He is passionate about learning how to use biomechanics in orthodontics to help improve future patients’ smiles. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys traveling, running, hiking, and exploring new restaurants!
