Kristen Young was born in Taiwan and grew up in South Africa before moving to California. She attended University of California, San Diego where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Cell Biology in 2015. After college, Dr. Young worked as a dental assistant in a periodontal practice in Seattle, Washington before pursuing her dental education at the University of California, San Francisco.
Dr. Young is elated to continue her post-graduate training in Periodontology at UCSF and looks forward to the next chapter of her life filled with new experiences, knowledge and adventures!
