Kristie Huie was raised in the East Bay in the small town of Castro Valley. After high school, she was accepted into the University of the Pacific Pre-Dental Accelerated Program and earned her Bachelor of Science, Chinese minor, and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees in six years. She was inducted into three dental honor societies: Tau Kappa Omega, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, and Phi Kappa Phi. After dental school, Dr. Huie attended a General Practice Residency Program at the VA Greater Los Angeles Medical Center where her interest in oral and maxillofacial surgery grew. During her spare time, Dr. Huie loves to learn new languages, watch movies, play the violin, cook, and explore new restaurants.
