Laura Lin is born in Taipei, Taiwan and raised in an international community in Xiamen, China. Dr. Lin moved to the United States to pursue a B.S. from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, along with a D.M.D. and M.P.H. from Harvard University in Boston, MA. At Harvard, Dr. Lin received the Student Humanitarian Award for commitment to public health research and outreach.
Passionate about improving access to care in dentistry, Dr. Lin strives for a career as a clinician-researcher who balances both clinical work and public health policy & research. After a decade of too much snow, Dr. Lin has finally made it to the West Coast--looking forward to serving the diverse community at UCSF and the San Francisco Bay Area.
