Michael Korleski is from Northern Delaware. He attended the University of Michigan and completed his bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene, where he conducted a behavioral science study regarding oral health gaps among Deaf and hard of hearing Americans. After getting his bachelor’s in dental hygiene, he obtained his DDS at University of Michigan. During his time at Michigan, he served on the Michigan Dental Association Annual Committee as an Executive Director on the District level for the American Student Dental Association, and advocated on a national level about amending new requirements to predoctoral dental curriculum accreditations on accessibility for patients with disabilities. During his leisure time, he often finds himself hiking in state and national parks; participating in CrossFit; cooking from scratch; and working on new knitting projects. He is looking forward to joining the talented dental team at the University of California, San Francisco, and continuing to advance patient-centered model care.
