Michael Pedram was born and raised in Calabasas, Calif., and went to UC Santa Barbara for his BS degree in Biopsychology. After college, he pursued a DDS degree at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, where he helped lead the Student Community Outreach for Public Education to combat homelessness and provide services for the underserved in San Francisco. His research involved human gingival fibroblasts and their potential in wound healing and osseodifferientation in a previously unstudied pathway. Dr. Pedram is passionate about sports and loves mentoring the high school basketball players at the local Betty Ong Community Recreation Center. His favorite teams include the New York Knicks and the Denver Broncos, taking after his family's origins in New York and Denver.
