Dr. Michael Ricupito grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and is excited to serve patients at the UCSF School of Dentistry. He earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Economics from the University of the Pacific. While at UOP, he was a student athlete as a Division 1 baseball player for the Tigers.
After graduating, he went on to earn his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the University of the Pacific Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. While in dental school, Dr. Ricupito was involved in organized dentistry as a student representative to the California Dental Association and did orthodontic research on maxillary skeletal expansion. His research finished first place at the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists research symposium in 2022. This collaborative research project has been submitted for publication.
His goal is to utilize the latest research and technology to achieve functional and aesthetic smiles for his patients as a UCSF orthodontic resident! After residency, Michael is excited to join his father practicing orthodontics in the Bay Area.
