Dr. Myles Wheeler was raised in Flower Mound, Texas. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Oklahoma, where he was also a track and field athlete. Returning to Texas, he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at UT Health San Antonio.
During dental school, Dr. Myles was actively involved in community outreach initiatives across the state of Texas and along the U.S.–Mexico border, experiences that deepened his passion for health equity. He is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health at San Jose State University alongside his residency, with the goal of advancing oral health among underserved populations both locally and globally.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Myles enjoys solo traveling, photography, cooking, and staying active. He is proficient in Spanish and is currently learning Japanese and Cantonese as part of his broader commitment to language access and global service.
