Sheba Vincent was born and raised in Kolkata, India, and later immigrated to Northern California. She completed her BS in Criminal Justice at CSU Sacramento. After working for a few years, she decided to pursue a career in health care. Her interest in global public health led her to pursue a Master’s in Global Health from UCSF, completing her thesis in Honduras conducting a cost analysis to incorporate fluoride varnish treatment to an existing vaccination program.
She completed her DDS at the University of Minnesota where she completed the first oral health assessment of the Lower Sioux Native American tribe and a study assessing dental student knowledge, attitudes and behaviors on opioid use and abuse. Dr. Vincent went on to do an internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at UCSF and is currently completing a randomized trial investigating neurosensory outcomes after orthognathic surgery. Dr. Vincent’s areas of interest of include global surgery, orthognathic surgery and maxillofacial trauma. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, running, hiking, and exploring the food scene in San Francisco.
