During his time at NYU College of Dentistry, Dr. Yang was involved in oral cancer research under Dr. Brian Schmidt at NYU Bluestone Center and was an honors student in oral and maxillofacial surgery. At graduation, Dr. Yang was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society. Dr. Yang’s clinical interests include craniomaxillofacial trauma, orthognathic surgery, and microvascular reconstruction of head and neck defects. He also developed an interest in global surgery, and hopes to participate in international surgical mission trips in the future. In his free time, Dr. Yang enjoys training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, watching k-drama, and exploring new restaurants with friends.
