Erin Malone is a DDS/PhD student from Hendersonville, Tenn. He is an alumnus of Tennessee State University in Nashville, where he graduated with a bachelor of science in biology. Erin currently is working in the lab of Stefan Habelitz, researching the self-assembly mechanism of the amelogenin protein into nanoribbons in context of enamel development. He serves as an IMSD fellow. His personal interest includes spending time with family and friends, participating in sports, and indulging in the cultural foods that San Francisco has to offer.
