DPH 475: Dental Public Health Lecture Series
The Dental Public Health Lecture Series examines critical issues in access and quality of dental care, preventive programs, and outcomes research. Each session features distinguished guest lecturers from across the country who share evidence-based approaches to improving oral health at the population level. Postgraduate students apply these insights to strengthen their competencies as Dental Public Health specialists.
Build expertise in evidence-based public health practice
Students prepare for each session through guided research, engage actively with presenters, and submit written analyses afterward. This structure deepens understanding of real-world challenges in prevention, community-based care, and health equity policy—core competencies in the specialty of Dental Public Health.
Meet the course director, George Taylor, DMD, DPH, DrPH.
