The Global Oral Health Program develops, coordinates and supports research, educational and service initiatives within the School of Dentistry and beyond.

The program sponsors the annual Global Oral Health Symposium, which draws world-renowned speakers, and coordinates the Student Research Travel Awards, which allow students to develop faculty-mentored research projects in public health, epidemiology and basic sciences relevant to global oral health.

2018 Symposium

The eighth annual UCSF School of Dentistry Global Oral Health Symposium will take place on Monday, May 7, 2018, from 1- 5 p.m. at the UCSF Parnassus campus. This year’s Symposium theme is "Health and Oral Health of Refugee, Migrant, and Immigrant Populations." The UCSF Philip R. Lee Institute for Health Policy Studies will co-sponsor this year’s symposium.
