The Global Oral Health Program develops, coordinates and supports research, educational and service initiatives within the School of Dentistry and beyond.

The program sponsors the annual Global Oral Health Symposium, which draws world-renowned speakers, and coordinates the Student Research Travel Awards, which allow students to develop faculty-mentored research projects in public health, epidemiology and basic sciences relevant to global oral health.

2019 Symposium

The ninth annual UCSF School of Dentistry Global Oral Health Symposium will take place 1-5 p.m. May 8, at the UCSF Parnassus campus. This year’s symposium theme is "Improving Global Health Action and Education: From Theory to Practice." The UCSF Philip R. Lee Institute for Health Policy Studies is the symposium's co-sponsor.
